Away from the hustle and bustle of the main Tegernsee areas, in the Ostin district of Gmund, an exciting experience awaits adventure seekers: the summer toboggan run on the Oedberg. From mid-April to early November, this attraction on Lake Tegernsee invites visitors aged three and over to a fast ride. Whether you’re a holidaymaker or day-tripper: the attraction is a special highlight for families during a visit to Lake Tegernsee.
The Oedberg Summer Toboggan Run
The drag lift takes you uphill at a leisurely pace. The track then winds its way back downhill over a total distance of 1.4 kilometers over straights, steep descents and S-curves. Each passenger sets their own pace and can make the ride as fast as they like. Children aged three and over can ride with an adult and from the age of seven can drive themselves.

For Families & Children
After a round or two on the summer toboggan run, kids can enjoy the large adventure playground, located right next to the main restaurant and beer garden at the Oedbergalm. Visitors can enjoy watching the toboggan run whilst keeping an eye on the playground right from the large sunny terrace of the Alm. Older kids will enjoy the high ropes course in the woods on the edge of the grounds.

Car license plates are automatically recorded upon entry into the car park, requiring drivers to pay the parking fee online within 48 hours of their visit. Tobogganers receive a discount of 3 euros.
Opening Times
Depending on the weather, the Oedberg summer toboggan run is open from around mid-April to around the beginning of November.
