The iodine and sulfur bath in Bad Wiessee at Lake Tegernsee is a unique alternative to the sauna or spa. The strongest sulfur springs in Germany were found here in Bad Wiessee in 1909. Since 2020, visitors have been able to enjoy Germany’s strongest iodine-sulphur water in a modern 1,200 m² bath house on the shore of Lake Tegernsee.
The iodine-sulphur water is pumped up to the health center from a depth of around 300 meters. Here guests can choose between a classic bath or a whey (Mölke) bath (€10 extra). Numerous applications such as spray baths, inhalations, eye baths or massages are also available.
Book the private lounge for two and enjoy fresh fruit, healthy drinks and various snacks after a relaxing massage.
