The Olaf Gulbransson Museum

Even for non-art lovers, a visit to the Olaf Gulbransson Museum in Tegernsee is highly recommended. Centrally located in the Kurpark, the museum shows a large number of exhibits ranging from caricatures to drawings and paintings by the Norwegian painter, graphic artist and caricaturist Olaf Gulbransson, who attained international fame as a draftsman for the Munich satirical magazine “Simplicissimus”. Look out for the various special exhibitions held on a regular basis.

Guided Tours through the Olaf Gulbransson Museum

Visitors can book a guided tour with cultural journalist Sonja Still. The tour lasts around 1 hour and costs €80 plus entrance fees for groups of up to 15 people.
